Our first Autumn box of 2024 is coming and we are buzzing with anticipation for this one. It's the perfect time of year for horror, and we went big on our September boxes. This box is filled with vengeful monsters, spirits, and living humans. Our twisted tale of the month was one we simply devoured and are so excited to share it with you.

GOTHIC | HORROR | THRILLER
Our featured book of the month is a modern gothic tale told from dual-timelines. In the modern day timeline, our protagonist feels like her world is falling apart after losing a long-term relationship and finding herself out of a job. To fill her time, she helps her grandmother clean her home, where she discovers a remarkable painting. After digging into the work, she discovers the dark history of the painter, who she discovers is one of her ancestors. The painter was an incredible talent whose work was commissioned by a wealthy patron of the time; though, the more she learns, the more she discovers just how evil this wealthy patron was. Soon, our modern protagonist becomes paranoid after turning down an exceptional offer for the piece. She fears she is being stalked and that the deaths surrounding her are her fault. She must find out the deadly truth and the real, dangerous history of the painting before it's too late...
