In the aftermath of the Salem witch trials, this dark tale follows a group of women who swore off their innate magical abilities in exchange for their freedom. But when a woman sprouts antlers in an orphanage 200 years later, it's proof that the contract was violated. She faces abuse from a wealthy visitor which leads to one of the young students to curse him dead. The woman is arrested in condemnation for the child's deed and use of magic and is facing execution. But those responsible for originally keeping post-Salem trial witches free try to use the young girl as a star witness. The young girl has nothing to lose except her magic with the weight of a revolution on her shoulders
